Our services

Daylight in, water out

A skylight should be the best thing about a room, not a stain spreading across the ceiling under it. We repair and reseal skylights so you keep the light without the leak.

Skylight leaks almost always come from the curb and flashing around the unit rather than the glass itself, which is why a roofer, not a glass company, is usually the right call. Skylight contractor is one of our listed Google Business Profile categories, and the flashing discipline we bring to chimneys applies exactly here: layered metal, woven into the shingles, sealed to the curb.

Fogged double-pane units, cracked domes, and failed seals each have their own right answer, and sometimes that answer is replacing the unit while the roof around it is open. We give you the honest options with a free inspection, and repairs carry our 1 year labor warranty.

Common questions

Skylight Repair questions, answered

My skylight leaks in heavy rain only. Why?

That pattern usually means the flashing or curb seal fails under volume rather than a constant gap. Our inspection reproduces the path and fixes the layer that is failing.

Can you repair a fogged skylight?

Fogging means the insulated glass seal has failed. Depending on the unit, the honest answer is sometimes resealing and sometimes replacement; we show you the options and costs before you decide.

Should I replace skylights when I replace my roof?

Often yes. With the roof open, replacing an aging unit costs far less than doing it later, and the new flashing integrates cleanly. We will tell you if yours are worth keeping.

Do skylight repairs carry a warranty?

Yes, our 1 year labor warranty applies to skylight repairs.

Ready for a straight answer about your roof?
