VELUX Sun Tunnel® Skylight
Bring Natural Light To Any Room
Every room in your house deserves to be lit with natural light, including the rooms in the middle of it. The VELUX Sun Tunnel® Skylight is one of the quickest and least expensive ways to add natural light to your house since, unlike conventional windows, it can be installed in a single afternoon.
An affordable option to add natural light to spaces that want a brighter, more colorful appearance is by installing a Sun Tunnel® Skylight. They are quick and simple to install because to their pre-fabricated light tunnel and low-profile design, which adds a sleek appearance to any roofline. They also come with a 20-year tunnel warranty.
Three Simple Installation Phases
A VELUX Sun Tunnel® Skylight may be installed entirely in under 90 minutes.
1. The Attic
Your installer will inspect the position of the rafter, take measurements, and record the positions of the ceiling and roof openings before entering the attic.
2. The Roof
Your installer will make a hole up on the roof and put in the top collar, the top of the tunnel, the lens, and the flashing.
3. The Interior
To link the two holes and cover the tunnel seams, your installer will cut a hole in the ceiling within the building and install the lower part of the reflecting tunnel. The diffuser and trim ring will then be mounted in the ceiling.
If the sun is shining, your new light will be on!
